Kinetics

The kinetics machine uses orthogonal acceleration time-of-flight mass spectrometry to investigate time resolved chemical kinetics. Low pressure gas (1-10 Torr) goes through a flow tube where it interacts with an excimer laser pulse before being extracted into the detection region through a small pinhole.
